Lucia vs. Alternate vs. Spellings

Naming our baby girl Lucia but pronouncing it Loo Sha. Pick or suggest the prettiest most fool proof spelling please. Lucia is a big pizza chain where we live and we'll get Lu See Uh if we spell it that way. TIA

Luscha is all I can come up with really. Don't like Lusha because Lush is in there. The grandmas could never let that go. :-) thanks for suggestions

I think it's best to stick with the original spelling and deal with correcting people. Plenty of people pronounce Lucia "Lu-aha" because of the Island. Having three different legitimate pronunciations of a name is tough, but I think it's easier to correct someone's pronunciation then correct someone's spelling of your name all the time. On the plus side is if she ever decides she doesn't like "Lou-sha" she will have two other different pronunciations she could change it to without changing the spelling of her name.

Useucia. I have a friend Lucia and she has no problems. Most people know it is said both ways. The people you know will say it right. Teachers will learn fast. The rest don't really matter anyway.
