Tabitha vs. Tallulah

Hi! We can't decide between these two names for our daughter. We don't like the idea of having two children with names beginning with the same letter, so the name we don't choose won't be used for another child, which makes the decision that much harder! We also can't decide of a spelling for Tallulah/Talulah. All opinions, thoughts and feelings are welcome! Thank you so much!

I like Tallulah best. I think the nicknames (Tallie, Lula, Lulu) are really cute and fun and I do like long, frilly names.
I really want to like Tabitha, and I think it is growing on me, but it reminds me of cats for some reason

Tabitha gmv. I had to toss a coin. Love both.

As for the spelling, the usual form is Tallulah for the Native American name and Tallula for the Irish one. Tallulah is by far the one most will assume anyway so you might as well use that one. I've not come across Talulah before. Good luck! :0)

P.S. to Blue: You're probably thinking of tabby cats, the striped ones. Also, maybe vague references to Salem witch trials, Tituba, black cats and (fictional) daughter Tabitha on "Bewitched?" But that last one is on deep background, subliminal stuff. It only makes me love Tabitha all the more.
