Lauren Alyssa vs. Alyssa Madison vs. Madison Alyssa

We really want to use the name Alyssa somewhere in our daughter's name to honor my husband's mother, who means so much to the both of us. Alyssa is his mom's name so we don't know if it's too weird to use it as her first name or if there is a nickname. His mom loves the name Lauren and when we brought it up, she flipped out. My husband and I love the name Madison, but wanted to know what you think we should do, need another perspective. We also have a son named Lucas, thanks!

Thanks, we have thought of Madison Lauren, but like we said, we want to use some variation of Alyssa in our daughters name. Thanks so much:)

Lauren Alyssa got my vote! Very cute. If you do use Alyssa as the first name, you could call her Allie for short.

Love Lauren Alyssa! but if you love Madison (which I really like too!) use the name you love or you'll regret it. You are already honoring his mom with Alyssa (which btw I love too!)

Lauren Alyssa James flows perfectly. And it goes well with Lucas, too, I think. A funny thing about the name Madison is the historical reference to James Madison, the writer of the Virginia Plan.
