Naiomh?? vs. Naoimh?? vs. how to pronounce these names??
I met a girl named "Naiomh" but only ever saw it written down. The name intrigued me, but every time I looked it up, the spelling "Naoimh" came up, which is just as intriguing! problem is, I have NO IDEA how to even begin to pronounce the name! I would love to maybe use it as a middle name. does anyone know how to pronounce Naiomh or Naoimh? thanks so much!

My absolute best guess would be that it would be similar to Niamh (neev). Maybe a variant of some sort?

It's a dialect thing, we use it in Munster a lot. It's Niamh by another spelling, pronounced the same way (knee uv)
