Nicknames for vs. SLOANE?
We are going with Sloane for our baby girl after the landslide votes for Sloane in a few polls we did - can you suggest any nicknames that may sound slightly softer while she is a baby/little girl? We love Sloane as she grows into to it but we're worried it sounded harsh for a baby?
Thanks

Love Sloane! Sloane doesn't really have any nicknames, other than Slo, which I don't suggest. Sloanie perhaps? What's her middle name? Does her intials make a nickname? Such as SJ. I think Sloane is just fine for a baby. Not too harsh.

Sly, though it may sound a little masculine? Or maybe Lonnie?

I agree that it doesn't have one and doesn't need one. You could always use something off the wall. My niece's nickname when she was little was Bug.

Thanks everyone - glad to hear you all think it's fine for a wee baby! I prefer when nn happen organically and often unrelated to the name. We will stick with Sloane then!

I don't think there's any need for a nickname for Sloane. You might find yourself calling her Sloanie occasionally. Love it!
My daughters name isn Sloane and her friends call her Sloaney girl.
