Middle Name vs. For vs. Annemarie

Love the name Annemarie for a little girl but we can't decide on a middle name! What goes well? Should we just do Anne Marie as first and middle? My concern is I don't want her to be called just Anne and if Marie is her middle name people might omit it. Surname is one syllable so I think a two syllable middle name would work well. Thanks!

I would definitely go with Annemarie first name, not Anne as FN Marie as MN if you want her to be called Annemarie by others, like teachers. I had an international student whose two-word first name got put into the system as first and middle names. I only saw the first name on my class list. She was very shy and didn't tell me about it right away. I felt badly that I hadn't known her correct name from the outset, though the student was sweet and understanding about it.

Growing up a had a friend with a name like Annemarie that could be one name or two names together (Loribeth). Her parents did not give her a middle name since she sort of already had two names. So that's an option, though on at least one occasion, someone mistook my friend's name for being Lori mn Beth. So I'd probably give her a middle name, unless you can't find any you like.
