Lleyton vs. Layton vs. Leyton

Hi all, we have decided to name our son Lleyton, Layton, Leyton James. I feel like the Layton and Leyton just have something missing. I love Lleyton, and there is a famous Aussie with the same name. To me the Ll is no different than Aaron or Isaac. The only downside I can see is Spanish-speakers pronouncing it "Yeyton". Which is your favorite spelling for a baby boy?

The extra l makes it look like the name has something to much.
Llewellyn has what you are looking for.

Welsh people pronounces Ll as a Cl. So it could be pronounced Clayton by some.
Saying that Lloyd has a Ll beginning.

To mention, Llewellyn is a Welsh name. The double-l is pronounced "hl", sort of like saying the word 'whole' without the o. So, in Welsh, Lleyton would be pronounced somewhere around "HLEH-ton".

Haha! I think Llewellyn is a bit too much for me. But I am surprised at how many people prefer "Layton" to "Leyton".

I feel that Leighton is more for a girl, but thank you for the suggestion Emy!
