Full name for vs. Lainey

I love the nickname Lainey but prefer that our kids have slightly more formal names that will age will and look professional on a resume one day. I'm stuck on Lainey because the obvious formal name would be Elaine but I know someone named that who is awful so naming my daughter that is out of the question. Can you think of any other full names for Lainey? Full disclosure, I am not pregnant but we are TTC soon so the name discussions have begun. I appreciate your help!

Ohhh I love Alaina! I hadn't thought of that spelling. I am not a fan of the name Helen so Helena, Elena, etc. are not my cup of tea. I'd also never heard of Madelaine, that's very pretty! I love Emmaline but infortunately I know of a little girl by that name and it's not a good association. Thank you very much everyone!

My daughters nickname is Lainey and her full name is Ellayna ( el-layne-a ) Jade I absolutely LOVE her name.
