Darby Grace vs. Darby Catherine vs. Darby ????

We love Darby, it’s my maiden name and are going to use it for our first little girl. We cannot decide on middle names to go with it. And before you get started, we know that this is technically a boy name, but lets face it, I don’t know anyone named Darby-boy or girl! Thanks so much!

Darby will be cute for your little girl, but I’m not sure it ages well (Like imagine a high powered lawyer named Darby). Have you thought of possibly using it for a middle name? Then again, she could also go by her middle name if she wanted to. I say go for it!

my old teacher has a daughter named Darby and I love it... Darby Elizabeth or Darby Catherine are both cute! Even Darby Rose

I know it won’t "age well" but people used to say the same things about names like Britney and Lexi, and I know some very powerful women with funky names. I think by the time Darby gets old enough to be a high powered lawyer, it won’t be so odd to have a funky name. And, if it is, she can just use her middle name professionally. I love Darby Elizabeth. That is precious. I definitely want a traditional middle name!

I think Darby’s more of a girl name. And I don’t know one either, so good pick. I like Darby Grace & Darcy Elizabeth.
