Millie vs. Emilia vs. Ameila

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE just the name Millie but most people in my pill the other day said it was too nick namey I think it could work just as a stand alone name..do you think so I like Amelia too but it is wayyy to popular for me to use I think Emilia is a little less common so should I just name her Millie or Emilia I guess. Here in the US Millie is not seen as a full name it seems but I looked it up and in Scotland it is like number 10 so yea

Emilia nn Millie. Then she will have options! I'm a huge fan of names with nicknames and always appreciated how well my full name ages while giving me different nickname options to use. Professionally I'm Katherine, my friends call me Kate and family calls me Katie. I would have hated to just be named Katie.

I would only use Millie as a nickname. She may prefer to have a full name when she gets older. Amelia is my favorite but Emilia is pretty too. I don't think popularity will be much of an issue if you plan to call her Millie most of the time anyways. Plus if you use it as a nickname you get to use two names you like instead of just one!

My cousin's daughter is named Emilia nn Millie. It's awesome on her and I really like it. She gets to have a formal name for some situations and Millie for most situations. It's the best of both worlds.

I think Millie works on its own. You could also use Mildred nn Millie.

Millie is fine as a full name. I work with someone called this, its literally never occurred to me to ask whether its her full name or not

Millie is cute and sweet. Emilia is popular on this site so it is not surprising it got so many votes.
