It sounds lovely. But Molly is in fact a Medieval diminutive of Mary and Maria is the Latin form of Mary, so they are variations of the same name.

I love the name Molly but I don’t care for it paired with Marie or Maria. I would personally pick something completely different. Maybe Molly Kate or Molly Katherine.
