Kala vs. For a girl

I love the name Kala , my heart was set on Kaia but a very close friend of mine used that name a few months ago but I still think Kala is beautiful , meaning princess in Hawaiian , opinions & middle names please

I went to school with a Kala (pronounce Kay-la). If you want if pronounced Ka-la, I suggest using the Calla spelling. Like the lily.

I would have said Kayla. Calla is how I'd say cal-uh. How is it pronounced in Hawaiian? Maybe kah-la?

Kala is pronounced kah-luh not Kayla. That's why it's spelled differently. I love this name, it's the name of Tarzan's ape mother.

Vv Kala can be said as Kayla. I know two Kala'sand they are said like Kayla. Calla would be kah-lah like the type of lily.
