Mei-Xing (Beautiful Star) vs. Mei-Zhen (Beautiful Pearl)

We have Chinese heritage and want Chinese name, which of these is better? Mei is pronounced similar to "may" and Xing is pronounced like "zing". Zhen is pronounced somewhat like "jen". Thanks you!

I chose Mei-Zhen. Mei-Xing sounds too much like Beijing for me personally.
