Boy spelled like this. But I know someone with the last name Jones who’s nn is Jonesy. If you want is as a girl, you need to change the spelling to Joansie/sey. But I don’t care for it as an actual FN, only a nn

it doesn’t suit a girl or a boy as a fn.I also know a guy with the last name Jones and Jonesy is his nn.that’s the only thing it works as!

I don’t think either gender. As a middle name it might work.

It’s a last name. I voted that it’s a boy name though. It’s like a nn for a ln. Josie’s a cute girls name though.

It’s cute as a nn for someone who has Joan or Jones somewhere in their name. Otherwise it doesn’t really make sense, and makes me think of people who are jonesing for drugs.
