Oliver and vs. Olivia - as twins

Hello! I adore the names Oliver and Olivia and I'd like to use them for twins. I know the two names are extremely similar but that's how I want it for my twins. I know people may say it's confusing but I adore it. What do you think? I'm most likely going to name the boy and girl Oliver and Olivia. It's just an amazing pair. Thank you for your input! -Morgan

P.S. I know the names are super similar so I was thinking maybe their nicknames could be Oli for Oliver and Liv or Olivia? Thoughts?

Because you are only thinking of what you like best and not what is in the best interest of your children. Read some articles on why twins hate match or in your case basically the same name.

The names aren't just very similar they are loterally the opposite gender versions of each other. In other words, either Oliver was made from Olivia or Olivia was made from Oliver. This is not an amazing pair it's an awful one, sorry. If you mist use one as a first name and the other as a middle name but please do not use them both as first names.

Not a fan of super matchy names. What about using one as a fn and one as a mn with reversed initials such as:

Oliver Luke and Lauren Olivia
Oliver James and Juliet Olivia

Absolutely not. This is a horrifying idea, and the commenter who said it was selfish is right. You aren't choosing names for your own benefit--you're choosing them for your children, and you need to actually choose them FOR your children.

I prefer Oliver to Olivia.

I think that all of you are right. I did not realize that the name matching might be bad for the twins. Thank you for that. I made a new poll where I made new name combinations that aren't as similar but still match a bit. Thanks everyone, again!
