Names that I am not a fan of: Esmeralda (too much), Sophia (too overused), and Veronica (hate the nickname Vern that every Veronica I know goes by)

My name is Angelena, so I think Angelina is a good choice. Would you ever consider using an E instead of an I? :P Angelique is absolutely gorgeous, though, as is Athena, Evangelina, Faye, Lydia, Natalie, and Valentina. Good luck!

Many lovely names on your list!

Anastasia-A little much for my taste.
Angelica-I like it. I also really like the simpler Angela.
Angelina-It's okay.
Angelique-I'm not a fan. I had a whose daughter is named Angelis (accent on the i) and I'm so used to that name that Angelique just sounds odd to me.
Athena-I freaking love this name!!
Caroline-So beautiful, classic, and classy!! My favorite on your list!
Cassandra-I love this name and would be thrilled to know someone who actually went by this full name rather than a shortened version.
Esmeralda-It reminds me of a name of a witch.
Evangeline/a-Cannot stand this name. I also don't like the idea of evangelism, so this name is a double turn-off.
Faye-Plain, simple, not bad. Good as a middle name.
Lydia-Dated, but not in a bad way. It's okay.
Natalie-Actually, THIS is my favorite name on your list. It is quite lovely and works for all ages. The perfect name.
Sabrina-All I can think of is Sabrina, The Teen-Aged Witch. Not a fan.
Sophia-It's so pretty, but so, so overused.
Valentina- Kind of nice. I'd only use it in the middle name position.
Veronica- Over the years it has grown on me, but not enough to make it into the favorites.

Great list! I really like a lot of these.

Favorites:
Esmeralda (drenched in romance, uncommon but familiar, possibility of Esmé as a nickname)
Valentina (long but dainty, beautiful sound)
Lydia (great rhythm, timeless classic)
Anastasia (regal, makes a statement)
Cassandra (full name draws admiration, while Cassie is laidback and friendly)

Least favorites:
Evangeline/a (evangelism bothers me)
Faye (too plain/threadbare)
Sophia (overused, and i prefer Sophie)
Angelique (*too* French)
Angelica (i just prefer Angelina)
