Marley vs. Marlee vs. Marlie

I know lots of people don't like this name for a girl but we just can't seem to find a name we love more... Should we change the spelling to make it more feminine or leave it as the original Marley spelling? We would also love some middle name suggestions if you have time! We are liking Mae, Rae and Rose at the moment. We like more traditional middle names but are open to anything. Thank you so much!

It reminds me of the a actress who is deaf, Marlee Matlin. I never considered it as a boy's name. Marlie gmv.

I had a teacher that named her daughter Marleigh Grace! I personally like that spelling but out of your choices I'd go with Marlie. GL!

Marlie gets my vote. Marlee just looks odd and Marley will forever be associated with reggae. Marlie is feminine and will age well. Would combine it with a normally spelled name for less of hassle, Marlie May, Marlie Ray, Marlie Rose, for example. Someother could names combos could be Marlie Noelle and Marlie Ann. Congrats!

Thank you for all the suggestions and input so far! We love a lot of the middle name suggestions but our top three would have to be Noelle, Grace and Faye!

Hi I like the traditional Marley. Your middle names you like are beautiful. Grace is very nice. I have a niece named Emily Grace. I just noticed this post is from 4 years ago. Whatever you named your daughter I'm sure it's beautiful name.
