Gracie / Grayce vs. Gracen / Gracyn vs. Gracelyn / Graceley

I adore the name Grace, but my husband thinks it's a bit boring and bland and prefers unusual spellings or alternatives. The only versions he suggested that I half like are Gracen or Gracelyn. Gracie is cute for a nickname, but I don't like it as a stand-alone name. I prefer more traditional spellings and simple names. I would love if we could find a name that has an alternative spelling that doesn't look just crazy, unlike Grayce instead of Grace… A name we have tossed around is Aubrey with Aubree as an 'unusual' spelling and Aubryn as an alternative option. I am very bad at explaining things hahahaha but I hope you understand what I am looking for. Another example is Rylee instead of Riley or Everlee instead of Everly. Thank you so so much!!

What about Gracielle (gray-cee-ell) or Graciella? I voted for Gracelyn but Grayce is cute too.

How do you feel about using the name in another language? For example, Gratia (gray-sha) is German for Grace. Graice could be a cute alternative spelling? I think that Gracyn and Gracelyn/Gracelynn are the best options out of the ones on your poll. Grayce reminds me of the term "gray-ace" as an abbreviation for "gray asexual" used in the LGBT community.

Pip, Gracielle is super pretty but my sister is calling her daughter Elle and our girls are due around the same time. We will see them quite often, so we don't want them to have similar names. Thanks for the suggestion though!!

Guest, Graceline is nice however we prefer Gracelyn. Thank you!!

Graciana

Graciela(said gracie-ella I believe) would be adorable. Graciela is a Latin name meaning "blessing; favor." I think it's a stunning alternative to Grace.

Isn't Graciela pronounced graw see aye la. That would not be the same as Ella. I think it is pretty.
