Full Girl vs. Names For vs. Nickname Dru/Drew

I love the name Drew for a little girl and really want to use it, but everyone I've asked thinks it sounds too masculine. Besides Drusilla (which I like but not 100% sold on) can you think of any names for nickname Drew?

Adore Drusilla, nn Dru. It makes me think of ancient Rome. Variant Drusa, another feminine form of Drusus, is available.

Gudrun? It means God's secret lore / knowledge. Or a D name with stressed "-ru-" middle name? Something like:

Diana Ruby
Damaris Ruth -- ("DAM-uh-ris"), = calf
Dinah Jerusha
Daphne Prudence

Good luck! :0)

I personally love Drusilla. Very unique and feminine yet striking. There is also Drurea which is from the Old French language that means "one who is greatly loved," Drury which is a nickname from the Old French druerie that means "love, friendship," and Drusi which means "dewey-eyed" in Latin.

I have a friend with a daughter, Drue. No issues with boy vs girl. Sometimes she is called by her first and middle, Drue Ellen. But Drew is a great name for a girl!
