Pia vs. Oia

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved the three-letter -ia names (e.g., Pia, Tia, Nia, Gia, Mia, Lia, etc.). I recently came across Oia, which I had never heard of before and instantly loved it. What made me love it even more is when I found out it's actually a village on the island of Santorini (in Greece)! However, I also love the more traditional Pia, which is making it really difficult to decide. I could really use some opinions!

Pia gmv, but I am biased bc it is my name ;) I like it, it's simple but not too popular.

I had to look up the pronunciation of Oia. I thought Oy-ah, which I was right, but some may not be able to pronounce it on the first try. I don't really like the way it looks or sounds. I'd stick with Pia, which is lovely, but I do love Lia and Nia too. But if you love Oia, don't let my opinion make you choose otherwise. Good luck!

I'm kind of smitten with Oia as well. Can't go wrong either way, though.

I LOVE Oia! It is so elegant and beautiful. It is also unique, which does seem to be a current trend. I recommend this name with no doubt whatsoever.
