I don't know if this counts, but I've had trouble with my name since I was a kid because it has so many variations - Tracy, Tracey, Traci, Tracie, etc. It also rhymes with other names, and some people thought that my name was actually Stacey (or Stacie?). It probably wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't also have a last name that has about half a dozen variations. People were forever getting confused about my name and how it's spelled.

I've always disliked my middle name, Gwendoline, but it's a family name. I would never pass it on to my daughter however.

We have a difficult last name and I love uncommon first names. I named our 2nd daughter Charis. I wish I had spelled it Carys to make the pronunciation easier. Her middle name (which her dad picked) is also long and difficult so she feels like no one every gets any of her names correct.
