Alba's vs. Sister

Our daughter turns 3 today but it also marks the start of my 3rd trimester and still no name! Our daughter's name is Alba and we're having another girl. We got some great help earlier and spent most of today looking through lists and lists of names. Still nothing that stood out as an instant love but hope to get there. I'll attach our list but we're open to ideas.

The Top Baby Name is...

We still don't know if we would go with another A name but these are the ones we've considered;

Amelia
Ivy
Mila
Esther
Lila
Aria
Stella
Victoria

Our last name is very short, 1 syllable

I would recommend Emilia, I think it is a beautiful name that you do not see spelled that way very often.

I love Vienna too! Thank you. I didn't realize I'd still be able to add. Ideally I'd love to have 2 names and we can decide once she's here. We're still open on middle names but leaning towards Josephine or Elizabeth

Lola is our dog :) I love Lucy and Hazel. I have this idea that having L's in their names creates a nice flow and I tend to love names with L. We had Ellis picked for a boy but pure coincidence.

Isla was on my list when I was pregnant with Alba. I pretty much knew what I wanted to name her but had a hotlist in my hospital bag just in case and it was on there. After my mom said Issss-luh I knew I could never use it. I have that same problem with Aurora. I love that name but find to be such a tongue twister

Loooove Lucia. Would pronunciation be an issue? Personally I'd say Loo-see-uh but my second thought Loo/shah.
I guess I like names that they won't have to share with other girls their age but at the same time won't cause them a headache in spelling and correcting. I'm an 80's Erica and never enjoyed being Erica B.

Lucia would be great! Pronouciation would be fine. I think most people in the US (if that's where you live) will pronounce it Loo-see-uh. Alba and Lucia are gorgeous! Good luck!

Alba & Scarlett
Alba & Ruby
Alba & Jade

Lucia is beautiful and would probably be pronounced correctly the majority of the time. And just fyi re Isla: Aila, Ayla & Ila are other legitimate spellings of the name, although they all (especially Ayla) may cause pronunciation issues, which I realize you're trying to avoid.

And I agree w/ your assessment re Aurora, but you may like Aurelia or Aurelie, which are both very pretty & much easier to pronounce. GL!

I commented on your poll yesterday, not many of the names are as "interesting" as Alba. I guess I should say not as uncommon. None of the suggestions I gave, because they were one syllable, really vibed with you.

What about:

Alba & Vera
Alba & Veda
Alba & Darcy/Darcie
Alba & Ellison nn Ellie
(I also very much like Ellis for a boy)
Alba & Arlow/Arlowe
(Most feel Arlo is for a boy but I adore it for a girl too!)
Alba & Waverly
Alba & Thessaly
Alba & Winslow nn Winnie

Of your choices I really do like Ivy.

Oh, and I forgot to add:
Alba & Greer
Alba & Blair/Blaire
Alba & Ada
