Eugene needs to be balanced out with a more common name, Eugene Sawyer gets my vote!

I agree Eugene is not a bad name but quite out of fashion. I recommend a more typical name like Joseph and he can always go by E.J. should he not like his name.

Mephisto is out of Dr. Fausts, so I would avoid unless you want to name your kid after the devil.
