Lauralyn vs. Laurelyn vs. Other?

How is the name supposed to be spelled? I love the name that is pronounced Laura-lyn and sometimes sounds more like Laurel-lyn .... but have no idea how it is actually supposed to be spelled. Help?

Not really sure this "name" has a traditional spelling. It's not a real, already existing name from what I've seen on Google or at least no one has any info on meaning or exact origin. But I suppose you spell it Lauralyn, Laurelyn or any of these..

My pick would probably be Loralyn or Loralin just because it doesn't look as messy and Loralin doesn't really look as trendy as Laurelyn/Lauralyn does.

Hmm...tough one. I honestly like both names, whether one is pronounced slightly different than the other or not.
Lauralyn I think may be said more separately (ex. Like Laura-Lynn) but Laurelyn I feel would be said more together, without separating -lyn from Laura.
Kind of like Lauralen
If you want it to be said almost as two names, then go with Lauralyn

How about Laurelin? There's a writer named Laurelin Paige and Laurelin is the name of one of the Two Trees of Valinor, from J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" and "The Silmarillion." Laurelin was basically the Sun which is kind of cool.

I just prefer the E to an A...like Laurel instead of Laura. Laura is very dated IMO, so spelling it like Laurel updates it!

Except Laura is "lor-uh" and Laurel is "lor-ull." Laurel isn't just an alternative spelling of Laura, it is a name of it's own and the name of a type of tree as well to further separate it from Laura. Just wanted to put that in just incase Guest 3 is unaware, not trying to be mean or anything.

I definitely think Lorelin or Laurelin look best and will more effectively get the "run together" factor that "Laurel-lyn" has over "Laura-lyn."

Lauralyn just looks like you've put 2 names together, it doesn't flow very well.
Laurelyn is better, but not the best.
but the best spellings are Lorelyn, Lorelynn. just look more feminine and looks like is one name and not 2 separate names just put together.
