Rowan????? vs. ????????

wdyt of the name Rowan? For a girl? I’m having another daughter and my husband made the final decision with the name of our last child, Madeline. This time, it’s my choice and though he’s not crazy about it I really love Rowan. Do Rowan and Madeline go together well? And more importantly....do you like the name? Is it pretty enough for a beautiful baby girl? Thanks!!

Not crazy about rowan, maybe as a mn. It does seem the same caliber as Madeline.

I LOVE both. If your husband doesn’t like you should try to find something else though, maybe use it as a middle name?

I like Rowan for a boy and I dont think Madeline and Rowan go well. Madeline is so pretty and feminine, and Rowan isnt.

I don’t think Madeline and Rowan go together, but I do like the name Rowan. I would definitely use it for a middle name, but to go with Madeline, I’d pick something slightly more common.

I don’t think it goes with Madeline. I know a baby boy named Rowan, so I see it as for a boy, but if you love it, then do it!!!

I’m not a huge fan of Rowan..Madeline is so cute and feminine, but when I hear Rowan I think more unisex and not cute

I like the name Rowan alot. I mentioned to my husband before and he said no too :) I’m not sure it goes great with Madeline, but I’m also not sure that it matters. I like the name so if you want it then go for it :)

rowan sounds manly, there is a wrestler, i think he was in the olympics a couple years ago?, and his name was rowan gardner.
