Beauden Bear vs. yes vs. no

Would really like to use cuddly Bear in some capacity (as a middle name). Just came across Beauden and I'm in love. I can picture a sweet little boy named Beauden as well as an adult. The only thing I'm not 100% sold on is the spelling. Upon further research, I see Beaudin* is a spelling variation of "Baudin" meaning "joyful," which is also quite sweet. What do you think? xo

Eh, it's ok but that spelling looks contrived.

Beauden is cool! It's fairly easy to figure out the pronunciation since Beau is becoming popular. And Bear is a fun nickname. It is also popular, but for dogs, so that would be my only reason for now using it.

The spelling looks off to me. I love both names, but I'm not sure if I like them together. It's too much I think. I think Bowden or Boden would be handsome. It's of Scandinavian and old French origin meaning "one who brings news". Good luck!

Boden Barrett
Hawkins Bear
Lucian Bear
Oliver Bear
Anderson Bear
Bodhi Finch
Sterling Bear
Keaton Bear
Callahan Bear

Good luck!

I think Bear would be better as a nickname rather than a middle name. If you give him a middle name that starts with R, then Bear is perfect as a nickname. BEAuden Robert for instance.

I've seen the Beauden spelling lots of time before, so all good there.

I do think it's too similar to Bear to use them as a first and middle combo though, it's too cutesy. Maybe bear as a nn?

Stop naming children these weird names! Their names don't make them unique, their personalities do. That is why regular names are coming back like Melissa, and James. jeez!

I wouldn't say Melissa is coming back, and James never left the building.

Not everyone wants their kid to share a name with 3 other kids in their class, "jeez" 🙄

I would never name a child Melissa OR James, honestly. Melissa is frizzy and washed out, everyone has a James. I'd much rather my kid have their own name than share with half their peers.
I really don't see what's wrong with Beauden (far better, imo, than Jayden or Kayden or even Holden), or Bear as a middle name, which btw no one EVER sees, hears, or uses.

OP- not sure if you're checking up, but the trolls on this site tend to get nasty. It's usually all the same person, but I know it sucks when people come at you one after the next. I like Beauden Bear, I think it's cute.

Beauden Bear is nice. i'd stick with Beauden, or spell it Boden but that's a clothing company.

Bowden to me looks like it should be pronounced bow-den rather than boh-den, and Beaudin looks trendy.

i like Beauden nn Beau, i also really like Bowen nn Bo/Bowie, or Bodhi nn Bo/Bowie. Bowen Bear is nice, Bodhi Bear is a bit cutesy and sounds like a kid talking about their teddy!
