Loo-sha vs. Loo-see-a vs. Loo-chee-a

If you saw the name Lucia, how would you automatically assume it was pronounced? We adore the name plan on using the loo-see-a pronunciation. It doesn't bother us that we will have to correct at times, we are just curious how the majority would assume it was said. TIA xo

I would assume loo-see-uh but I actually prefer both other pronounciations

I've never found "Loo-sha" to be an attractive pronunciation at all. I don't think anyone would pronounce it "Loo-chee-a" unless their native language is Italian.

In standard Italian it is pronounced Lu-chee-a. In Sicilian, a dialect of Italy it is Lu-shee-a.
