I would steer away from another ocean / water related name. If you have more kids after this you dont want to feel "stuck" with a theme. Another nature name could be alright because there are just so many nature names to choose from, but it still limits you with future children.

Someone I know named their kid Dash because of the dash between the year you were born and the year you die. Supposed to symbolize life.... I thought it was cool. Cutest kid!

Poppy, GO FOR IT! We didn't announce his name until after he was born since we didn't want other people's thoughts or reactions steering us away from the name we loved. Once her was born it was kind of a mixed reaction, some loved it some not so much but 10 months later no one can picture him with any other name! I would suggest pairing it with a more common/ classic middle name though.
