Bryson vs. Brysen vs. Brycen
Hello, I'm trying to figure out if these different spellings of this name come from different origins. Would anyone know? Like if one spelling is Irish and another is English or Welsh? At least that's what I've been seeing from searching. Thanks!

Bryson is the correct spelling it's a pretty straight forward patronymic the others are just goofy youniik spellings of the same name.

Bryson looks better but Bryce is another option.

The others I haven't seen. If I came across them in real life I would assume they are creative (made up) spellings.
Check out behindthename.com. It's the most well researched site I've found. They list Bryson as the default, English spelling. Brysen is listed as a variant of Bryson (no origin, so English) and Brycen is listed as an American variant of Bryson. That tells me that Brysen has at least been used longer than Brycen, which is something. I still don't like either Brysen or Brycen though. Good luck! :0)
