Klailea vs. Clealia vs. Cleis

I've been trying to find a good girls name that could have the nickname "Clay" and so far these are my favourites that I've come across. Klailea is clay-lay-uh, Clelia is clay-lee-uh, and Cleis is somewhere between clays and clace (not sure how to describe it better than that). Which one do you like best, or if you know of any other names that could be shortened to "clay" I'd love to hear them, like Klailea would become Klai, Clelia would be Cle, and Cleis would be Cle/Clei. I think I'm leaning towards Cleis at the moment but I'd really like to hear some other people's opinions. Middle name suggestions would be great as well! Thanks -Elle

Oops! Just realized I misspelled Clelia as Clealia in the poll, it's supposed to be Clelia like in the description. -Elle

This is a ridiculous convolution for a poor result.

Clea, an actual name.

I'd just like to point out that all of these names are in fact "actual names". Klailea is a Hawaiian name meaning "gift of god", Clelia is an Italian name meaning "famous", and Cleis is a Greek name meaning "thanks" -Elle

I love Clelia, as mentioned above, but you may also like the Greek Kleio, which means glory. In Greek Mythology, Kleio was the goddess of history & heroic poetry and one of the nine muses. The name is pronounced as KLAY-AW. GL!

Also, there's the French Clémence (CLAY-MAHNS), which means "merciful, gentle." :-)
