Nicknames vs. for vs. Selah

Hello! My baby girl has arrived. My boyfriend loved the name Selah but I wasn't sold until she was born. Selah just seems to fit her beautifully. However, I would really like to call her by a nickname. I can't think of any nicknames for Selah but I'm open to something creative. Any ideas? Thank you.

I thought the same about my daughter. My bf loved the name Nova but I wasn't too sure but once she was born I knew that was supposed to be her name. I call her Novi a lot now.
Seli would be a cute short nickname

Congratulations! I adore the name Selah but can't think of any good nicknames. Maybe Sese, Sel, Selly, Ela, Ellie, Lala? Or does she have a middle name you could include?

It's good to know I'm not alone! Seli and Lala are cute! I couldn't use Ela or Ellie as nice as they are because my sister's nickname is Elle. Her middle name is really short, there's only four letters and no nickname options.

It's pronounced Say-la, correct? Sae, Sayli, Ayla, or La-la are the only nicknames that I can come up with.

We named my daughter Selah and I LOVE her name just as it is.
I've heard some people call her Selahvi. The French pronunciation of "what will be".
