No. Emily & Miley are 2 different styles - Emily is a beautiful traditional classic that will stand the test of time, while Miley is trendy & won't age well. I would keep Emily & choose another traditional classic to match. GL!
Emily Elizabeth is the name of the owner in Clifford the Big Red Dog. Milly is also a common nickname for Emily, which is awfully close to Miley.

Miley is just bad. Emily is dated.

I think they're too close. The majority of Emily is basically Miley. Emily could end up going by Millie which is way too close to Miley. You're limiting Emily's options in case she doesn't want to go by Emily.
Other anagram twin girl names that aren't as close:
Hallie and Leilah
Daniele and Adeline
Alice and Celia
Ali and Lia
Carlie and Claire
Elsa and Sela

*sigh* As a triplet, I can tell you that it's not a unique idea at all. Very common, actually. That being said I do like Emily a lot! Miley, though, makes me automatically think of Miley Cyrus who seems to be going through yet another trashy phase. I'd hesitate to use the name Miley because people would think you named your daughter for her.

All I think of is Miley Cyrus. I think something else would be more preferable.
