Middle name for vs. Marissa Hernandez

We recently adopted a five year old little girl from Mexico whose name is Marissa. She has asked for a middle name because her new siblings all have middle names. The problem is that we have no idea what to put as her middle name and she has told us that she does not care what her middle name is as long as it’s nice because that’s all what she really want’s ~ a middle name! So any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! ~ Thanks! Marissa, Maria, Martin, Leo, Lucas, and Melanie

I’m afraid we don’t know any of her family’s names because she was given up for adoption as a newborn so we don’t know much about her family.

I think it would be really neat to incorporate something cultural from where she was adopted- maybe a Spanish name or word.

Well, she has asked that we give her an english middle name like her siblings have because we will incorporate her culture in to her daily life as it is fully a part of my husbands life (he’s mexican) and half way in mine ( I’m half Mexican half Italian) she will be able to keep her language and will even get to visit her old home every year on one of our yearly vacations to Mexico.
