I agree unless you are French why are you using an E? Adrian and Julian are the traditional English spellings. Substituting them with Es will only cause frustration as he will have to correct people his entire life. He will also end up introducing himself as "Hi, my name is Julian with an E" which sucks.

Julian and Adrian are both very handsome though and I would pick whichever goes better with your surname.
