Edzio vs. Etzio vs. Ezio

Which spelling do you think works best for the name Eht-zee-oh? Ezio is the traditional Italian spelling, but I'm worried it will always be mispronounced where we live in the States. Should we add the 'T' or 'D' for clarification? Middle name suggestions are welcome. Right now we are thinking Alistair or Augustus. Thanks.
