I would really like to call our new daughter Annie but my husband thinks it is to little girlish for when she gets older. So we are looking for a name that can have Annie as a nick name. So far I like Anne, Brianne, and Anabelle. Thank you! Lex and Peter

My good friend named her daughter Ann, and they call her Annie as her nickname. Very cute, and if she grows up and decides she wants to go by Ann, she can!

My SIL is 45 and goes by Annie to most of the family....and she is very professional as at PT and even co-workers refer to her as Annie....her given name is Ann. SO, it is a great classic name and you should go with it. Other options:

I new a girl name Adrianna and she went by annie.
