Lyla vs. Lila vs. Layla

Even though Lila is the more traditional spelling doesn't Lyla phonetically make more sense? Do you think people are going to assume that her name is Layla if we go with Lila/Lyla, because Layla is more popular? Thanks!!

I LOVE Lyla ("LIE-luh"), which will never be mispronounced, whereas Lila will be pronounced as "LEE-luh" at times. However, neither name will ever be mispronounced as Layla ("LAY-luh") - GL!

How about Lilah? I've never heard that mispronounced as LEE-luh. It looks more complete to me.

Lyla and Lilah are pronounced "Lie-luh"
Lila can either be "Lee-luh" or "Lie-luh"
