My go to is actually Loo-CHA-na, the Italian pronunciation. I would of course defer to the parents' wishes on that. Lucy would be my preferred nickname.

The only Luciana I've ever met pronounced it loo-see-AH-nuh so that's how I've pronounced it since then. I like both Luna and Lucy so maybe wait until your daughter is born and try both our to see which "fits" her best?

My grandma is Lucianna, pronounced like "Anna", not like "Ana" from frozen. I think one N would be Ahhh-nah, and two Ns would be Anne-ah... and Lucy seems like the more obvious nickname but Luna is super cute!

Since that's my name....Luci-anna is how it's pronounced. Just like the two shorter names that it's made up of! Luci is what everyone calls me...
