Addison vs. Elena vs. Elizabeth

I wouldn’t want the nickname Addie for Addison Ellie for Elena would be ok and Libby for Elizabeth. Any thoughts? thanks!

I think I really like Addison just by itself. Lena is cute for Elena though and Lizzy is cute for Elizabeth, I do like Libby too though. Thanks! Poster

I don’t know if you would be able to avoid the "Addie" nickname for Addison, especially once she goes to school. It’s like Abigail and "Abby". If I were you, I would go with Elizabeth and call her Libby.

I see what you mean about school. I am Abby and not an Abigail. I think it would be silly to have a daughter named Addie so I think I may be better off letting go of Addison.

Elena is my favorite. It’s beautiful and Ellie is an adorable nickname. Elizabeth is also lovely. I am not too fond of Addison but love the nickname Addie. Adeline, Adele, Adela, Adelaide etc would be gorgeous.

I almost voted for Elena until I saw that you were planning to call her Ellie. Ugh. What is with the nickname obsession people?! Elena is a beautiful name as is! I voted for Addison because of this, even though it’s very popular.

I love the name Elena. Nicknames could be Laney, Lane, Lana or Elle. Addison is a great name but I don’t like any nicknames for it. Beth is my favorite nickname for Elizabeth...please no Bessy or Lizzy
