Isla Blake vs. Isla Ray vs. Isla Chandler

We are due any day now and cannot decide on a middle name for our daughter. Her first name will be Isla. I love the idea of a middle name that is more gender neutral. Not a fan of anything too girlie sounding. Open to other ideas if you have them!! I'm really not sold on any of these names yet. We've also considered middle names that reflect nature like "Isla winter" or "Isla rain"

Isla Ray sounds like a manta or sting ray from an island or a ray of light shining on an island. Love it and it definitely reflects nature.

I love Isla but these middles are not as pretty with this name. Isla Evangeline!

Isla is gorgeous. But I wouldn't use a middle name that is a word. Overall it sounds more like a phrase, " isle of rain" (for example) than a person. Try for something more subtle. Other ideas:

Isla Hollis -- holly trees
Isla Jessamine -- jasmine
Isla Averill -- boar's battle, unisex, rhymes w/ Cape Canaveral
Isla Meredith -- originally a male name
Isla Briallen -- ("bree-AL-en") primrose
Isla Polaire -- French Polaris / North Star
Isla Kiran -- unisex Sanskrit name, = sunbeam ("KEER-un")

I voted for Chandler, but I truly adore Isla Rain and I also like Isla Winter. Isla Chandler is my third choice.
