Melinda Faye would be a lot better combination, with the right rhythm. Not a fan of it as posted above.

I like Faye, Melinda isn't my fave. Perhaps Faye Matilda, Faye Miranda or Faye Marina - that's just personal preference though

I actually love Melinda as a middle name, especially if you are honoring a family member or other person close to you named Melinda. Faye Melina doesn't have a great flow though. If you are honoring a Melinda, Melina(meh-lee-nuh) is a great name that similar to it and Melina Faye would make a pretty name.
