I am so sick of the name, sorry, and IMO it is overused and much too common. I love just the name Eliza though, which also has the nn options Liza, Ellie, Liz and Lizzy.
My favorite mns right now are Charlotte, Vivian, Camille, Genevieve, Lydia, Simone, Bianca, Celeste, and Scarlett. GL!!

Elizabeth Abigail is a great combo IMO. Lizzie or Lissy are adorable nns

Elizabeth is probably one of the most common names. It’s really boring, IMO. I prefer Elisabeth, it makes it look and sound softer. Plus, it takes away that horrid nickname, Lizzy/Liz.

Many of the adorable nicknames are actually names, themselves.

I don’t think it is boring or overused. there are so many weird names out there I say it is a nice classic name. Ask yourself how many Elizabeths do you know?

I love Elizabeth! It’s nice and not really that overused anymore you guys gees. Let’s talk overused Claire, Madison, Ava, Madelyn, Adelyn, Isabella, Grace, Olivia, Emma, Sophia names you see on here everyday and vote for everyday. Those girls will all have classmates, Elizabeth won’t. As you can see Elizabeth is not one of them. I only know two Elizabeth’s. I love the name and may use it for my daughter. If you like it go for it because most likely you won’t find another name you like as much as it.

Yes it IS still overused, look at the numbers! Poster, do you actually know many young children? Or children at all? There are Elizabeths everywhere. Do you live somewhere with a population of only 200 or something?

You cannot go wrong with Elizabeth. A stunning classic and gorgeous nn’s. Any family members that have a name that compliment’s Elizabeth?
