Definitely Zara. Beautiful name but no reason to spell it incorrectly and make her life difficult. With the X she will have to spend her life correcting people on how to both spell and pronounce it. The Z is beautiful and it is still a wonderful name.

I personally prefer Zara. I like Z names in general. Not sure if Xara is considered a legitimate alternative or not. Otherwise I'd say follow your heart. Zara is probably the least problematic spelling. But people will manage to mangle a name no matter what. She'll probably get Sara, Sarah, Zarah a lot regardless. So I wouldn't necessarily let that deter you from the spelling you love most.

I prefer Zara, but I have no issue with Xara either! Do whatever you wish:) There's also Tsara, which I think is the prettiest!
