Out of these two names Ryder is the better one. Brecken sounds too made up and not a strong name for a boy.

I don’t think either one will age well, so I didn’t vote. I just wanted to comment. But if I had to pick, I’d choose Ryder. There’s a Brecken Ridge where I’m from. That’s why it wouldn’t work here. Ryder reminds me of the trucks or the wagon.

Definitely Breckin, spelled like this. It reminds me of the actor Breckin Meyer, or of Breckenridge. Ryder sounds sexual to me and won’t age neatly as well.
