I pronounced all three of these differently.
Melina — mel-EE-na; Milena — mih-LAY-na; Malina — ma-LEE-na. My preference is Melina, which can still be shortened to Millie!

Melina & Malina are the same to me. I known 1 with each spelling. Milena I would say mih-LAY-na, rhyming with Elena. Y

For me Milena would be "mi-leh-nuh" Malina would be "muh-LEE-nuh" and melina would be "meh-LEE-nuh"

I agree that these spellings have different pronunciations:
Melina = Mel-ee-na (my fave)
Milena = mil-ay-na (too close to Mirena IUD)
Malina = Ma-lee-na (Prefix mal = bad)
