Oaken vs. Oak vs. Oakley

We think the name Oak is super handsome for a boy. These are 3 options, I'm leaning more towards Oaken since I feel Oakley has gone to the girls now. Hubby thinks we should just go for Oak since that's what we'd end up calling him but I can't see it in the long term.

I like the suggestion of Oakland, my second choice would be Oaklen. For some reason I think Oakland Ever or Oaken Ever pairs nicely!

I prefer Oaken with Oak as a nickname.
I happen to have a neighbor,who is a grown man,named Oken (although I do like the Oaken spelling better) so the name doesn't seem as out there to me as it may to some.I actually find it suits him very well and I think I would like it on a little guy just as much.

Oaken reminds me of Hannah Montana (Oliver Oaken) however I prefer it to Oakley. Oak is a cute nn but I don't think it's strong enough to be a stand alone name
