Elle vs. Elsa vs. Elsie

My husband loves the name Elle. I love Elsa but fear that the "frozen" association may be too strong. Elsie and Elea are also considerations. Prefer a name with 1 or 2 syllables so not interested in longer "-elle" names Thanks!

I voted for Elsie, but I love both Elsa and Elsie! I think either one would work just fine!

Elsa gmv. Beautiful and timeless. Nn Elsie is darling.

I first fell in love with the name Elsa after seeing, "Born Free." It's based on a true story about a lioness named Elsa. There are so many other associations with the name: actress Elsa Lanchester, designer Elsa Schiaparelli (sp?), decorator Elsa Maxwell. And I've known ordinary women (extraordinary in their own ways, of course) named Elsa. It's more than just "Frozen."

If you are still worried, maybe Elsa as a nn for Elizabeth / Elisabeth? Good luck! :0)

I'd name her Elsa. Daddy can call her Elle, and if the Frozen association is too much for you, you can call her Elle as well, or Elsie. In essence, Elsa gives you the opportunity to use any/all of the 3 names in your poll.
