My brother’s name is Kenneth. And Family never called him Ken or Kenny. Always Kenneth. But some of his buddies did. I love the name and it ages well.

Hi--i just thought of this one a bit ago....we’re having our 5th in a couple weeks, already have 2 girls, Megan (9) and Molly (5) and 2 boys Leo (7) and Adam (3). We have a huge family w/ tons of boys so its difficult coming up w/ names not used, also we have a long difficult last name (begins w/S and 9 letters) so we like to keep names short/simple/classic. So what do you think?

I LOVE them all really. There was someone on here a while back who had a daughter Kirsten Maxine. She was expecting and wanted Naomi Eve, but wasn’t sure. I love both of your choices =] Kirsten & Lydia are 2 of my favorite names. Here is what I think

thanks for the compliment mandii---I appreciate it! Michael is my husband and the other 2 already on my list (he’s not fond of) are Jake and Nolan...I may consider Craig, but I know he wouldn’t go for the others....but thanks!

Yes it’s me to blame. Now can you let go of it and stop holding on to grudges the Bible says to forgive. I said I was sorry and I meant it.

As I said earlier I love Kenneth great name:) Many cute nickname possibilities.

is it acceptable to name the baby just Ken and not Kenneth? I like just Ken I think.....but does everyone think its too much of a nn? and thanks everyone for your replies...i have to go pick my kids up from school now! :)

I like Kenneth as a whole, so your son can have the option to go by a nick name or not. He may want to be Ken in school and Kenneth is the job world.

I would use Kenneth as the full name and just call him Ken if that’s what you want to do. My oldest son has a friend named Kenny whose full name is Kenneth. No one ever calls him Kenneth (except his mom when she’s annoyed) and he’s a teenager.
