I prefer Amy.
My friend is named Ami and pronounces it Ah-mee. Similar to the French word for "friend."

Amy!
I love Amy! Very cute and yet polished & professional-sounding for an adult. Its meaning "beloved" adds to its charm.
Amy is my favorite spelling. Having studied French, Aimee is pronounced eh-MAY, Ami and Amie are pronounced ah-MEE in my mind (though I assume most English-speakers would pronounce all as AY-mee). Amy is standard. Almost all the Amy's I've met are spelled this way, but I did recently meet an Amie (said the same as Amy). Amy, any spelling, is a great choice! Good luck!
