Yes vs. No

Turning boyfriend's name from Manuel Angel to Manuela Angel? We were convinced that we were gonna have a boy who would have been a Jr. but quite disappointing to recently find out that the boy we were hoping for was actually a girl so the only thing I can think of doing is naming her after dad anyway

Give the baby her own unique name that's for her instead of trying to slightly change the fathers name as if she's a boy. Don't be disappointed it's a girl, be happy you were able to get pregnant with a healthy baby

Don't give her a male name. I hade 3 Miscarriages be happy you are able to have a baby and if it's a girl then don't name her after her dad but maybe after you or one of her grandmothers. I voted for no also she can't be a jr. since you changed the name

Be happy you were able to have a child. Don't be disappointed that you aren't having a boy. One of my friends tried for ten years to have a baby, even with IVF, and still couldn't have a baby. They eventually adopted, but that isn't the point. Be happy you are able to have a healthy child. Also, wait until you have a boy to honor the father. Give your daughter your name or her own name. Don't try to change it for her father.
